Supply Chain Management

Supply chain management (SCM) is the oversight of materials, information, and finances as they move in a process from supplier to manufacturer to wholesaler to retailer to consumer. Along this chain (Internal and External), there are three major flows: product flow, financial flow, and information flow. The product flow includes the movement of goods from a supplier to a customer, as well as any customer returns or service needs. The information flow involves transmitting orders and updating the status of delivery. The financial flow consists of credit terms, payment schedules, and consignment and title ownership arrangements.

In order to facilitate the Product Flow, we track the movement of goods from supplier to consumer (internal as well as external), as well as deal with customer service needs such as input materials or consumables or services like housekeeping. Product flow also involves returns / rejections (Reverse Flow). For example, one of our mold technology companies are taking orders from many mechanical manufacturers around the world. The mold production includes auto parts, industrial electrics, and furniture. Then the finished molds are assembled to order on a flatbed for shipment to customers.

We will support our clients manage a great deal of diverse information--bills of materials, product data, descriptions and pricing, inventory levels, customer and order information, delivery scheduling, supplier and distributor information, delivery status, commercial documents, title of goods, current cash flow and financial information etc. Our teams communicate and coordinate with suppliers, transportation vendors, subcontractors and other parties back and forth.

In any organization, the supply chain has both Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) activities and includes payment schedules, credit, and additional financial arrangements meanwhile funds flow in opposite directions: receivables (funds inflow) and payables (funds outflow). The working capital cycle also provides a useful representation of financial flows in a supply chain. What we can do is to analyze opportunities and challenges in managing financial flow. Our integrated management of this flow will deliver a positive impact on the cash flow position and profitability of the company.

Export and Import Management

Global trade in goods and services is growing, with new trade agreements being introduced and renegotiated around the world. Selling globally is easier than ever—for any size company. For American companies, exporting makes more sense now than ever before. But exporting is undeniably more complicated than selling domestically. It introduces a lot of new and unfamiliar issues to understand and deal with.  That’s why most U.S. companies sell to the nearest country market, Canada. However, with proper preparation, it’s possible to do much more. There are significant advantages to selling to far countries or even an entire region, such as East Asian and Southeast Asian.

China‘s fast-growing economy attracts international participation, including exports from U.S. small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Unlike large international or multinational companies that establish operations for branding, marketing and various business activities in China. SMEs with limited budgets, when expanding their business, usually start with fostering a sales network through regional agents or distributors. For over 10 years, we have offered convenient export and import management services and worked as the sales agent for companies overseas. We can assist in keeping track of policy and regulation updates, both locally and nationally, collect market data, and quickly respond to changes. In addition, U.S. SMEs can take advantage of existing networks enjoyed by us and expand their business through such contacts.

We are licensed to introduce and sell medical devices, food (including packaged food, fresh or frozen meat), and cosmetic manufactured abroad to Chinese market. Also, we are able to obtain permits and licenses faster due to our long relationship with government authorities and excellent records. SMEs can conduct test sales under our permits and licenses in China. Meanwhile, we help them gain permits and licenses efficiently and effectively as well. Our teams working on both end of the Pacific Ocean support our clients and solve problems from legal questions to language issues.
